Seasoned Investors with Deep India Market Expertise

Vishnu has two decades of investing experience and four years of operating experience in India. Prior to founding Ajanta Capital from 2011 to 2023, he was Co-Founder at Steinberg India Advisors and was instrumental in the scale up of the Steinberg India Fund. He was also an early employee at Premji Invest, the largest family office in India, from 2006 to 2011. He played a key role in building out the investment processes in both firms.

Vishnu started his career with Coca-Cola India where multiple roles across brand management, consumer insights and sales operations helped acquire deep insights into consumers and business operations in India.

Shilpa leads all Operations for Ajanta Capital. She had 25 years of professional experience prior to joining Ajanta, including 16 years at KPMG, EY and RSM. She has rich experience in multiple functional areas from Finance and Accounts, Controls, Regulatory and International Taxation. She has managed clients across industry verticals as well as large teams.

Saeed is a core part of the investment team and has been with the firm since inception. He has close to two decades of professional experience across buyside, sell side and entrepreneurship. He was an early member of the team at Premji Invest and has also worked with Ambit Capital.
